Spanish dried chorizo, flavorful manchego cheese, and crusty bread. This appetizer is an easy, tasty quick-add to a meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 French baguette sliced ¾ to 1" thick
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 tbsp Kosher salt
  • 1 tsp Fresh cracked black pepper
  • 4 med Roma tomatoes or use the pickled farmstand tomatoes chopped
  • 4 oz Manchego cheese grated
  • 4 oz Chorizo, Spanish chopped
  • Balsamic glaze

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 °F. Place sliced bread on a baking sheet. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with kosher salt and fresh cracked pepper.
  • Bake for 7-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Turn the crostini over and baked again until lightly browned. Remove from oven and cool to room temperature.
  • Top with roma tomatoes or use some Pickled Farmstand Tomatoes.
  • Sprinkle with grated Manchego. If you are not using the Pickled Farmstand Tomatoes, drizzle with balsamic glaze.
  • Voila! Yum it up!!!!!
