Meet Big Bleu!

My sidekick, my work horse. He is my beautiful bleu boy and I adore him!

I walked into Williams Sonoma in Annapolis and there he was. He looked at me. I looked at him. It was LOVE at first sight. The store was moving and he was soon to be homeless. I couldn’t let that happen SO I brought him home (with my husband’s approval, of course).

The kitchen renovation was so easy it was as if my new bleu man was meant to keep me company in the kitchen.

Big Bleu is a 72″ La Cornue Chateau range. He is French, hence “bleu” vs “blue”. He was born in 2006 but he was never used. He was just a trophy range for the Williams Sonoma store. When they relocated to a different shopping center, they didn’t have room for him so they sold him to me! Buzz and Lee Ann can hook you up if you are ever in the market for one of your own. So many colors it will blow your mind.

My kitchen, Big Bleu’s Lab as I like to refer to it, is so much fun now with him. If you take a cooking class, you will be properly introduced! I hope you will join us in Big Bleu’s lab someday!
